The Mission of the Cedar Grove Civic Association.

  •  Foster pride in the neighborhood(s)
  •  Work for the improvement of the neighborhoods, to see safe attractive and healthful  conditions for living, working and raising families.
  • Maintain and improve our land, home, sidewalks, and streets.
  • Alert public officiator to the needs of the neighborhood: to cooperate with them in securing adequate public service for the neighborhoods.

A little History
Did you know that the surface trolley from Ashmont (passing through Cedar Grove Cemetery-- which "Ripley's Believe it or Not" lists as the only trolley in the world to pass through a cemetery).

Boundaries of Cedar Grove Civic Association
The general boundaries of the Association are: Ashmont Street from Neponset Ave to Dorchester Ave, Dorchester Ave running from Ashmont Street to Richmond Street, all areas from Richmond Street and Adams Street over to and including the Neponset river, up to and including the area of Ashmont and Neponset Streets.
